Your guide will pick you from your hotel in the morning to Start your tour visiting The Egyptian Museum which has more than 250,000 pieces display a rare collection of Egyptian art Over 5,000 years, as well as Tutankhamen room which has treasure, jewelry and golds which was enclosed in his tomb over 3500 years before it was discovered in 1920 when his tomb was excavated. Pick you up from your hotel in Cairo, Travel to Alexandria. Start the tour with the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world now with 8 million books. Visit open court where you can see the statue of Alexander the Great and the statue of Ptolemy the first, which was found underwater nearby. Our guide will explain the design of the library from outside, you will have a chance for some photo stops. Note: Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and on every public holiday. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase a ticket. Visit the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria with the display of the sunken monuments of Alexandria which were discovered under the East harbor of Alexandria. The car will take you to visit the Catacombs of Kom ElShokafa one of the 1 st century cemetery in Alexandria, it dates back to the Roman time. You will visit the Pompeii pillar after that to see the remains of the temple of Serapium. Take a free time near the Citadel of Quaitbay and enjoy taking photos for the citadel from outside. Your lunch will be served in one of the fish restaurants in Alexandria. Notes: It is necessary that you wear flat, closed and very comfortable shoes whilst taking this tour.
